In this 2-part series we take a look at how to start campaigns, and how not to do it.

Let’s start with some common mistakes.

I’ve run through these mistakes all in a few minutes in this video.  In this situation, we could work around some of them fairly easily.  But normally, they are found over a few days or weeks, and are much harder to resolve.  You’ll have contacts at different points in each of those sequences, and changing on the fly can be “fun”.  You’ll need to change the campaign without breaking the flow for any of them, and without sending them the wrong message or losing them.  Not impossible, but painful.  Much better to avoid those problems altogether.
